I have a Canon Rebel DSLR at the top of a glass, and used it very well last week at Disney World. Until you can beat the picture quality of a DSLR in low light conditions and fast-moving targets (not to mention all the other times) has become a huge pain to carry around the park and the deep and get on rides. So I read the studies and found that the best balance around the Panasonic Lumix ZS3 (TZ7 elsewhere). Unfortunately, there is nobody to carry the camera and online price is within the range of $ 400 +. So I decided to walk down the middle market and found the camera, the Canon PowerShot SD780 IS (IXUS 100 IS elsewhere in the world). The various Sony looked good, I hate the use of memory cards. I always wanted to keep everything the same, and from my Canon Rebel using SD, I decided to go to the camera used, too. It takes amazing photos, if there is much light, such as lighting internal or external environment. The clouds appear and do not expire. The color is very vivid, like all vaccines in the Canon. The video quality of HD quality 720p and definitely looks like a Nice constant speed of 30 frames per second. This is the smallest aperture or scale of 3.5, 6 and ascends to the zoom issue. It is true that in low light to create a grainy image is useless for my standards. The terrible shadow areas and muddy. And the video of evil itself. (Remember that the small size of uploaded thumbnails do not do justice, because the native 12MP camera). I could understand the camera function on their own, without reading the manual and everything, but if you want a very detailed guide, go to step.

I only had this camera for a day or two, but now I’m totally impressed with this so far. I’m not a big photo junkie so I do not want to go all out for a camera in super little expensive. I use mostly for travel and photography in general. I was looking for a point and shoot, which meet this need not enter the sea in the price. What I like about this camera is that, unlike almost every camera out there, this is NOT the click wheel, 8 different positions on it. Previous machine, and this was, at least for me has always been a pain to ensure that the law was set before a picture. The camera is actually smart enough to understand what is needed and when taking the picture. This is the true definition of what should be a point and shoot. He does not understand that the images in focus, the power switch and then take a photo. This is probably the best feature of this camera that I like. The images are very sharp and should be sought, but the small size (MB) setting 12MP Fine. Only 3 camera settings, or, Auto, “normal” and the video. The chamber created, all you have to do is aim and shoot the photo. OFF ON Starting time about 2 seconds, so you do not have to wait a bit for the camera to “boot” to take a photo. Although this is a more agreeable. The video quality is very good. Spec wise, put on a par with most entry-level cameras, there is only a part of. The menu is fairly simple and does not need to dip into them to find all the bells and whistles. relatively easy to navigate and all too easy to find. The only “mistakes” This thing is the small screen and stubby fingers.

I debate this back and forth against the Sony Cybershot W290. Finally, I settled on this for three reasons: 1) ability to record HD “Compact Mode” VIDEO 2) Ability to use the zoom (digital) while using the recovery mode 3) ultra-compact camera as friendly as my iPhone Pocket 3GS . I am a Mac user, and integrates seamlessly with iPhoto, and the software also supports ZoombrowserX W / Mac YouTuber and I wanted a camera can take high quality photos and movies. The camera is ideal if you, like me. First it was thought that the Sony Cyber-shot would have the advantage, because even 35-times digital zoom, but do not allow the use of zoom during recording. The fee allows up to 5x digital while recording movies. Even in the Cyber-shot films in both modes can not be fixed macroHD. And finally, the Canon is essentially the same very very thin / polished. The only advantage is that the more the rate is Cyber smile detection feature 5x optical zoom and anti-3x. However, both the glass of the camera lens and high quality. The Sony W290 also has an optical zoom viewfinder. I have a new Canon SD940 (SD780 update), a larger screen 2.7 “, but w / out optical zoom viewfinder. It seems a bit strange is collected by the optical zoom Finder, because when I open a very clear day and sunny, it is very difficult to use the images on the screen and you have not seen any change or non-glare LCD screens out there. The point is that this little machine takes a photo superpunch. Very light and elegant, but very strong and powerful (image + vid). I’m very happy with the purchase.

I was looking for an ultra-compact laptop, this is a very good image. I have read reviews on the Canon sd780, and I liked the look and features of the Samsung TL220, so I bought two! (I’m comparing, and recovering what was lost in the race.) When taking a bunch of pictures and prints, is close to a draw. I had a couple of photos from the Canon, who distinguished himself, and some of the Samsung too. Most images have been killed, plus the license fee that shows a little more detail, while Samsung color seemed to be more and more. (I’ve used the program for cars and SCENSE for both parties.) I was leaning towards the Canon because of the special, then took photos at the house at night. I realized that the canon was Achilles heal. It was not to compare the two cameras, Canon, Samsung has burst. (E ‘difficult for me to say because there’s a Canon A710, which I love.) I think the flash is too small. The shadows in the photo turned yellow. There were no shadows in photos taken with Samsung. The indoor photos at night are aggravated by the wide-angle lens, touch screen, more zoom, pan, Stitch, beauty shots, and a host of features, Samsung sent me over the edge. Again, if it were not for indoor photos at night, probably would have stayed with Canon.

I bought this camera to replace my current (and to be my fourth) Canon. I wanted to venture away from Canons since they all seem to have the same problems. However, this camera got pretty decent BestBuy reviews and the Nikon it competes with did not. After having it for one week I already returned it to the store. The software for loading the pictures on the computer is terribly painful to work with. In addition to the software the camera itself has plenty of issues. First, it has terribly slow shutter time. I read this on the site but figured I could deal with it. However, after taking it out for a night on the town–people would have to pose for several seconds when taking fun candid photos of friends. They even commented on the slow timing. Low lighting situations produced terribly “red” photos as well as blurry photos. Even in auto mode practically every picture requires the user to “steady hand” with the steady hand icon. Finally, this is not a cheap camera. These issues may be OK to deal with except that the camera is 300 dollars and rivals the price of the Sonys. One thing I might say about the camera is there is always a possibility that it was defective. When I returned it to the store I was chatting with the customer service reps and they said a few of their colleagues and friends had bought it and love it; so perhaps I got a lemon. I was tempted to try it again but was heading to Europe and figured I could manage with my old camera instead of ruining my photos with this new one.
